My Story
I’m Shayla Gifford—a sales leader and team builder that helps loan officers like you become self-made rainmakers.
Not through complicated systems or “cutting-edge” growth hacks, but by helping you unlock who you truly are and what you’re really capable of. The truth is, I started out feeling like a complete outsider in this industry. At 23, I dropped out of college, had zero real estate knowledge, and was totally winging it. But I had this insane drive to figure it out—because deep down, I knew I was meant for more. (Sound familiar?)

At a certain point in my journey, I had a major revelation: I only have one life to live, and I’m not going to spend it working all the time, not having fun, or beating myself up for not achieving enough. I felt called to bring more peace, joy, and wonder into my life. I didn’t want my life to be a blur. I wanted to f*cking LIVE.
So I did something a little crazy. I moved my family to Spain for three years. I started prioritizing adventure and play. I learned how to "be" instead of always "doing." And guess what? My business didn't fall apart. In fact, it thrived in a whole new way. And life got a lot more fun.
What I discovered is that it’s possible to crush it as a loan officer while experiencing joy, authentic connection, and living your best life. And here’s the big unlock: This is also the fastest way to grow your business. Success and joy flow from the same source when you’re grounded in who you truly are.

My All-In Life
I live in Reno, Nevada with my husband Galen and our two girls, where I get to lead my district team at Guild Mortgage and spend my free time wakesurfing, skiing, and adventuring with awesome people. As a driven entrepreneur who leads with heart, I’ve learned that true success comes from going all-in on what matters most—showing up as your authentic self, creating opportunity for others, and having a blast at every point along the way.
